The original, much loved, Sophie La Girafe was born in France in 1961! Her design hasn’t changed for over 50 years. Sophie is adored by both children and their parents across the world, over 50 million children have loved her over the years (including ours!)… no wonder she is still a “must have” baby toy!

Sophie La Girafe is the perfect first toy to stimulate all  five of your baby’s senses from the age of 3 months old. So just how does she stimulate all of the senses? Her dark spots provide visual stimulation, she has a unique and easily identifiable smell, she squeaks when squeezed to stimulate baby’s hearing, she has soft and bumpy parts to soothe baby’s sore gums and she has a comforting texture – she is light and easy to grip, even by the smallest of hands!

Sophie La Girafe is still produced using traditional techniques in France. Made from 100% natural rubber (Phthalate-free) using the sap of the Hevea tree and non toxic food grade paint. This is a healthy, natural, soft and supple material and creates a safe product that babies love.
